Goodbye and HELLO!!

I’m very excited to be sharing Stampin’ UP!’s new Color Renovation with you! As of June 1 we will have even MORE fabulous colors in papers, inks, stamp pads, watercolors and more! Because we’ve added so many fabulous colors (trust me, I have sample sheets from the new In Colors – they’re delicious!) we must make room by retiring some colors.
These embellishments were created with one of my favorite retiring colors, Pixie Pink (ink and cardstock – stamp is an old one I had in my stash).

I have added links on the right of this blog to a list of retiring colors and those sticking around. Our stock of retiring colors is GOING FAST! If you love these colors you need to stock up NOW before they’re all gone! Simply click the link to my online shop to the right.

Have a great week!

Simple Birthday Thanks Versitility

I love stamps (obviously! ;)) but I especially love stamps with versitility. I like to use my purchasing power to really get milage out of my supplies. Take for example the “Simple Birthday Thanks” stamp from Stampin’ UP!

Simple Birthday Thanks Stamp Set - by Stampin' Up!

While I love the simple thank-you note on the inside of the cupcake, did you know you could take that out? Before I mounted this stamp I used an Xacto knife to cut out the wording portion (and the wording on the identification sticker). These I mounted separately so I can use just the cupcake, just the wording, or both.

Here is a paper-pieced version of this cupcake in my Mama Bear Stamps Etsy shop right now (I used scraps for this people – YOU can do this!!)

And here are some examples of this stamp used with Stampin’ UP! supplies:

All these designs (and so much more) can be created with just this ONE stamp! And for only $17.95 it’s a steal!
If you love this Stampin’ UP! stamp (and all the others!) you can earn it FREE just by inviting your friends over and stamping with me and the gang! Contact me today to set up a workshop in your home or mine and enjoy all the fun, creativity, and FREE products Stampin’ UP! has to offer!

My new obsession

I love blogs. I mean, I REALLY love blogs. It’s like reading a little non-fiction book right on my screen, any time. I love serious business blogs, financial blogs, cooking blogs (even though I can’t cook!), decorating blogs and of course, crafting blogs. Google Reader is my new obsession! Now I can read all my favorite blogs in one place. I also have Google Alerts set up for some topics and I can read those here too. FAB.U.LOUS!

I wanted to pass along a neat project idea I found today during my blog reading. Hop over there to read the full directions. I hope you have a great day!

Howdy!

I'm Tammy Moore, a scrapbooking fanatic in Austin, TX. Thanks for stopping by my little space on the web. Feel free to contact me any time!

Why “Mama Bear Stamps”?

A few years ago my daughter and husband gave me the nickname "Mama Bear" and I've used it ever since! This year I even conqured my fear of needles and had the Chinese symbols of mother and bear tattooed above my right ankle. When I started this blog, I knew I wanted to go by my nickname: Mama Bear. But you can call me Tammy if you'd like. :)
