A Couple Quick Cards
I created these quick cards to send off to Cards For Heroes (http://cardsforheroes.org/) but thought I’d share them here before they go in the box.
I played with shapes for these cards, so for this one I hand-cut diamonds from Bashful Blue and added them on top of Only Orange cardstocks (Stampin’ UP!). Then I stamped an image from “Card Games” (SU!) which I colored with colored pencils. I cut that out, popped it up with Dimensionals and added a ribbon. Quick and easy!
I can see someone sending this to a son or daughter – it just makes me happy, and I hope it will for the recipient and Hero as well. 🙂 I used Green Galore, Lovely Lilac, and YoYo Yellow cardstocks for this one (SU!). I punched the circles out with a 3/4″ punch and popped alternating ones up on Dimensionals.
I hope you’ve had a great week – I’ve been battling a cold, but hope to be in tip-top shape for this weekend! 🙂
All the best,
Tammy
IT’S HERE!!
I am SO excited to finally be able to share with you the AWESOME Stampin’ UP! Holiday Mini catalog!! You may have to scroll down a bit, but it’s right… over…. there… ——> Can you tell I’m excited?? 🙂
I can’t say enough great things about this catalog, but I wanted to point you to a couple pages in particular:
Page 3: Hostess Benefits! If you hold a workshop any time during this catalog’s release (now through January 4, 2010) you can choose your Hostess Rewards from the Holiday Mini Catalog and/or the year-round catalog! That’s right, mix and match for your fabulous gifts! Contact me today to set up a workshop or catalog party and start earning those fabulous rewards!
Page 6: Sweet Centers – Can you imagine the FUN you and your family could have with these fabulous stamps and coordinating Sweet Treat Cups?! Think of sending those fabulous Halloween cards with candy with the children that come to your door on the 31st! The ornament would be perfect for class Christmas gifts (you could fill the cups with mini erasers!), and the Valentine’s and Hot Air Balloon stamps are perfect year-round!
Page 11: Night & Day Specialty Paper – Scrapbookers, this is for YOU! These are fabulous, double-sided papers in a great weight. I’m also drooling over the Autumn Meadows Specialty Paper on page 13!
*I promise I won’t go through the whole catalog, although it’s all fabulous! 🙂
Pages 34-37: BUILD-A-BEAR WORKSHOP!!!!!!!! To say that my daughter loves that place would be a huge understatement! I have literally hundreds of photos just itching to be scrapped using these fabulous papers, stamps, and die-cuts! **BAB Workshop items make a great SU! Workshop! If you’d like to have a workshop focused around this set, or any set of items in the Mini Catalog, just let me know!
And last, but certainly not least… Page 38: My Digital Studio! This is brand new, and not available JUST yet, but as soon as it is I’ll let you know all about it! 🙂
Thanks for hanging in here with me, and I hope you enjoy the Mini Catalog as much as I do! If you’d like a paper copy, please let me know and I will send one out to you! I’m here to answer any questions you may have!
Have a great day!
